Youth Services - PARTH

PARTH – Participation, Access, Resources and Training on Homelessness

The PARTH program is designed to improve knowledge and skills among those who work with young people on the causes and impact of homelessness, and in how they can support young people at risk, or already homeless. Counselling referrals for young people aged between 12 and 25 years can be made through the program.

PARTH aims to better address the mental health needs of homeless young people by providing information and training to youth workers and facilitating networks to develop and deliver these services. The goal is to establish better links, mutual understanding and co-operative working relationships between young people and health/mental services. As such, the project can be classified as a community development/community education program.
