Volunteers

Our volunteers are an essential part of the services provided through Ballarat Community Health Centre and their work is greatly appreciated by staff and clients alike.

Volunteer work
Some of the roles that our volunteers take on include:

  • Mail delivery and errands
  • Administration and clerical assistance
  • Transport consumers
  • Assistance with mental health groups and programs

Some people volunteer a couple of hours a week, others much more. It all depends on how much time people have available to offer, and what work needs to be done.

Who can volunteer?
Anyone can volunteer. Those who may find the experience rewarding include:

  • People with spare time who would like to contribute to the community
  • Retired workers
  • Students who would like to develop their skills
  • People who wish to gain experience
